Just a reminder that if you e-transfer you still must come to the office to sign for the permit to receive it.

UPDATE- Burn permits can be purchased in the office as of June 2nd, 2021.  Please be aware that you MUST be the property owner to obtain a permit to burn for your property.  

ATTENTION RESIDENTS: Beginning Thursday, April 29th, 2021 the Municipality of Tweed will be selling fire permits every Tuesday and Thursday between 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Council Chambers door. The cost is $15 for the year and can be paid by cash, cheque, or e-transfer to info@tweed.ca. If you are using e-transfer please indicate in the comment section that it is for a fire permit and provide the address.  Those paying via e-transfer are still required to obtain and sign for a permit at our office. 

A summary of changes will be available on our website in the next coming days and you will be provided a summary sheet upon purchase of permit. Please wear a mask and social distance when waiting to purchase your permit.
