Refugee Sponsorship Committee
Residents of the Municipality of Tweed have formed The Tweed Refugee Sponsorship Committee.
This committee is planning on either sponsoring and bringing a refugee family to Tweed, or donating funds to another group in the area who is sponsoring a refugee family.
Interest and support has been overwhelming from this caring and generous community.
Additional information is available at www.refugeestotweed.com or on the Tweed Ontario Refugee Sponsorship Facebook page. Donation forms are available on-line or can be picked up /dropped off at the Municipality of Tweed office.
