Ice Storm Update
Due to the ice storm and lack of hydro, please be advised that the Municipal office is open as a warming centre. The arena will also be open at 11:00 a.m. today. If you are in need of water, the outside tap at the back of the arena is available to fill your containers.

Significant Weather Event
After observing the weather warning issued by Environment Canada which indicates significant amounts of freezing rain tonight into tomorrow, the Municipality of Tweed is declaring a significant weather event in the municipality, as defined within the Minimum Maintenance Standards Regulation Ont. 239/02.
During the significant weather event, the Municipality is advising motorists and residents

Waste Management Changes
This change is a Provincial Government decision, not a decision that has been made by your Municipality. The Province has decided that commercial /institutional recycling is no longer the responsibility of the local Municipality. Please do not contact the Municipality regarding concerns about this change.
