One of the requirements for the 2018 Municipal Election is that a Compliance Audit Committee must be formed under the authority of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 to address applications requesting an audit of a candidate or registered third party election campaign finances.
The member municipalities of Hastings County are seeking applications from interested professionals who are required to adhere to codes of standards of their profession, and other individuals with in depth knowledge of the campaign financing rules of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 for appointment to the Joint Hastings County 2018 Election Compliance Audit Committee. The Committee will serve all fourteen municipalities in Hastings County.
