COVID-19 Update- March 17 2020 Afternoon Update

The Municipality of Tweed continues to monitor the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic as issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the State of Emergency declared by the Province of Ontario.

In consideration of the impacts of this and closing our administration office to the public until April 5th, we will be extending the tax due date and the dog tag due date to April 30th.

You can continue to make payments on your taxes through online banking or by using our secure drop box at the administration office by placing your cheque and payment stub in.

Our staff will continue to remain available by phone. 613-478-2535.

Our waste disposal site remains open during regular business hours.

We again urge everyone to continue practicing social distancing by keeping 2 meters or 6 feet between others, washing hands often, and sneezing and coughing into your sleeve.

We will continue to provide updates to assist with keeping everyone informed.
