Deadlines To Be Aware Of | |
In the aftermath of the the 2014 flooding residents are advised to be aware of the following deadlines: Private Property Damage Assessment forms related to the recent flooding must be submitted to the Municipality of Tweed no later than Friday, June 6th. Completed forms can be dropped off at the Municipal Office at 255 Metcalf St., Tweed, faxed to 613-478-6457, or scanned and emailed directly to our office at info@twp.tweed.on.ca. Blank forms are available for pick up from the Municipal Office during regular business hours or are available by clicking here. Since the flooding subsided we have also been allowing residents to deposit flood damaged items at the Stoco Waste Site free of charge. Please note that Saturday, June 7th will be the final date for depositing your flood damaged items at the waste site. Regular disposal fees will apply after this date for all items taken to the waste site. |

The Municipality of Tweed is currently under a heat warning for the next few days. To help residents stay cool, the following cooling stations are available:

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
