Motorcycle Experts Roll Into Tweed OHTO Looking To Expand Motorcycle Tourism

The Ontario Highlands Tourism Organization (OHTO) has been working hard to bring motorcycle tourism to the region in conjuction with local tourism offices.

On June 11th Tweed will be playing host to BC Hughes Tourism Consultants Chris Hughes and Michael Jacobs.  The duo will test out Tweed's best motorcycle routes, and make site visits to all motorcycle approved operators. In a release from the OHTO Hughes said "We will be visting over 120 operators and attractions in nine days."  He continues "Every operator has already been scored using a checklist to ensure motorycle friendliness and a perfect fit for the rotues.  Visiting in person allows us to give them tips, specfic to their business, on the simple things riders are looking for."

While hitting the open road in Tweed next Tuesday Chris and Mike will be creating content for future promotional tactics by filming interviews with operators and riding footage of the most scenic roads in the Municipality of Tweed.

This visit to our region is part of a long-term strategy to make the Ontario Highlands a must ride motorcycle destination in Ontario.
