Notice of Community Meeting POSTPONEMENT Tweed Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)

Due to an unexpected delay in the timeline of a required study related to the proposed site, we are extending the timing of the development of the Tweed BESS project.
To ensure we can provide a complete and fulsome assessment of the project site to local residents, the planned community meeting, previously scheduled for October 9th, 2025, will be postponed until 2026.

Flinton Rd Notice
The Public Works Team will be undertaking an emergency replacement of a 36-inch culvert on Flinton Road starting as early as tomorrow September 18. We are hoping to mange traffic by keeping one lane open and not having to close the entire road. The Culvert is located about 8 Km from Highway 7.
Expect delays. The work is expected to be completed by Friday afternoon.Â
