Half Loads
Half-load restrictions will be lifted on all municipal roads in the Municipality of Tweed on Monday, April 27, 2026.
These restrictions are implemented each year to preserve and protect our roads from freeze-thaw cycles during late winter and into spring. Restrictions are being lifted as there is no longer a risk of low temperatures.

Register To Vote
The Municipality of Tweed will be using Telephone/Internet Voting for the 2026 Municipal Election. Voting Day is Monday, October 26, 2026, however, there will be no polls in the traditional sense on Voting Day.
The Voting Period for the Municipality of Tweed will run from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2026Â to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026Â and voters will be able to vote either
