Road Graders - Ice Blading
You may see road graders ice blading this winter, especially on gravel and low-volume roads.
Ice blading removes packed snow and ice to improve traction, reduce ruts, protect the road surface, and minimize damage during spring thaw.
You may notice a windrow along the road after blading. This material is mostly ice, snow, and road treatment—not the gravel base.

Snow Plowing Update
The Municipality would like to address recent concerns regarding snowplowing and winter road maintenance that have arisen since the beginning of December.
Historically, Tweed receives an average of approximately 31 centimetres of snowfall during the month of December. This year, however, the municipality has experienced significantly higher snowfall totals, receiving approximately 68
