WATER SAFETY DUE TO ANTICIPATED LARGE AMOUNTS OF RAINFALL
Quinte Conservation is advising residents of the potential for nuisance flooding due to expected rainfall and warming temperatures.
Weather Forecast:Â Weather forecasts for the Quinte Watershed predict 30-35 mm of rainfall in the southern portions of the watershed and Prince Edward County over the next few days. Areas north of Hwy 7 are expected to receive 20-25 mm of rainfall. Warm

Sandbags & sand are available at the Stoco Yard, Actinolite Yard, and behind the Tweed Public Library for any residents who may require them this spring beginning Friday March 6th at 10 AM.

We’ve received feedback from Waste Management that some households are missing their pickup because bags aren’t placed at the curb early enough. To make sure your waste is collected:
Please have all garbage at the curb no later than 7:00 AM on the scheduled pickup day.

The Municipality of Tweed will be using Telephone/Internet Voting for the 2026 Municipal Election. Voting Day is Monday, October 26, 2026, however, there will be no polls in the traditional sense on Voting Day.
The Voting Period for the Municipality of Tweed will run from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2026Â to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026Â and voters will be able to vote either
