Kiwanis Tweed & Area IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s

The Tweed & Area IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s event presented by the Kiwanis Club of Tweed has been scheduled for Saturday May 28, 2022. Registration is at 9:30 a.m., with the Walk getting underway at 10:00 a.m. The event will conclude at noon. Incentives, prizes and more! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was not held in 2020 or 2021. In 2019, over$18,800 was raised on October 20th in Tweed for the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward, which provides free education and support to those affected in our area. All funds raised stay local and help those in our community. The Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward is a local not-for-profit agency, which provides free navigation, education and support services to families, friends, caregivers and persons with dementia or memory loss. The Kiwanis Club of Tweed is involved in a variety of projects that involve fundraising and community service. Kiwanis is a global not-for-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
