Tweed Drinking Water System
No Addition of Flouride to System
The Tweed Drinking Water System does not add Fluoride to the system. Fluoride is naturally occurring and quarterly sampling is conducted (over and above the regulation required every 60 months sampling). The sample results for treated water supplied to consumers has never exceeded the Maximum Acceptable Concentration (MAC) limit as stated in the Safe Drinking Water Act O.Reg 169/03 for fluoride.

Canada Day Garbage and Recycling Pickup
Curbside collection of garbage and recycling will take place on Friday July 1st at regular hours.
There is no change to garbage and recycling pickup due to Canada Day.

This is a day that celebrates and recognizes First Nations, Metis, and Inuit cultures. It is observed on the 21st of June to recognize the summer solstice, the day of maximum daylight, and its importance to indigenous peoples.
